It’s a really good idea to punch or drill holes into the magnetic sheet before gluing it onto the aluminum plate. Otherwise the screws can no longer be accessed in order to level the bed.
I asked on Facebook and was told the length should be between 51 and 53mm. I used 53mm and chamfered the hotend side and widened the extruder side with a drill bit. The fit was perfect.
