Another solution, which brings you 4CM extra work height and extra sturdyness in your build:
- Mount the two outer profiles directly under your Y Axes. Place a piece of painterstape on top of the profile so the Y Axis profile and this profile won’t clatter. Using the profiles as support for the C beams keeps them from sagging. You will actually create a same kind of setup as for the X Axis.
- Use the corner brackets to mount the CNC to your table. This provides extra rigidity as well. Take note of the different hole positions on the brackets.
- Mount the Spoilboard directly onto the table. You will end up with an edge of the outer profiles, but they will never interfere with your work area. Should your workpiece be bigger, you can always place an extra board under your workpiece to raise it.
M4x16 caphead wont fit; use the buttonhead in the limitswitch package
BOMlist describes 4x M4x20, while 6 are needed.
2x M4x25 is never mentioned, so i assume these should be used here
Make sure to keep a tiny gap between the two Axis (rod - motor) in order for the coupling to function optimally.
