If you follow the guide step by step, the belts are already in the correct orientation after installing the Left and Right Motors. For reference, the teeth of the belt face outward (towards the printed face_belt_grabber).
The bottom panel can be installed at any point, you can still get it through the door once everything is assembled.

2. foam tape is 5mm wide, 1mm thick. Included in the kit is enough for the top and front panels (length depends on printer size).

The easiest way I found is to cut open one side, right at the end of the rod. Then place the rod vertically, the closed end on the table. Grab around the plastic on the top and pull down. Once the rod sticks out a couple of centimeters from the plastic, grab that end and pull the plastic from the other end completely.
