I did not have any M4 screws. Had to find some spares I had.
Just tore through all my screw bags and I have zero m2.5 screws.
You need to remove the 2 screws from the top of the Rapido 2 Hotend to remove the PTFE connector section (where the red arrow is). I have never used one of these types of Hotends before, it would have been a great "oh, by the way..."
May I suggest to RatRig that they do not Heat Shrink the plastic onto the Lead Screws... :(
It may not have started as Heat Shrink, but by the time it was delivered it was.
As like the other 2, pliers worked great to start it and a few light taps with a hammer with the part standing up got the job done without issue. Just watch your thumb.
Hammer worked too ;) Just gentle taps though.
Only had trouble with the first end piece. But I backed the T-Nuts almost all the way off the screw and they slid into the 2020 just fine. Did the same with the other end piece and I had no issues sliding the 2020 in with the T-Nuts already attached.
Had to go looking ahead for the motor position as well as it clearly shows the motor but not the connector...
