There is another guide for it here https://docs.ratrig.com/v-core-4-0/orbit...
@ratrig Why did you not even finish this guide? At this point the heat bed lies next to the printer and the bed cover is not used.
@ratrig There seem to be several problems with the AC wiring:
- No power switch on the box (I will use a power strip with a switch, but thats not really good practice)
- The electronics box is not grounded
- The guide shows the hotbed heater cables with fork connectors, but it came with ferrules. Turns out there were not enough fork connectors in the set to replace them and i had to buy some extra!
On my 120 mm fan, which is already mounted to the cover plate, it says 24 V.
So it seems it will should be directly to the third fan slot on the board, with the same jumper configuration, when closing the box.
Exactly the same. Print quality of the parts is so attrocious that it was the exception for any of them to work out of the box.
Had to do plenty of drilling, milling and filing to at least make it functional.
There is no need for heat inserts there. The holes are meant to pass through screws to tighten into the heat inserts on the other part.
On my parts there seems to be a sacrificial layer in the way that needs to be removed.
The images and description dont fit.
After making sure there are no other similar parts: The bed plate I received has 4 big holes on the side where the one in this image has only one. And there are no smaller holes.
It should be noted that these plates are NOT the similarly shaped printed parts with fewer holes.
These are metal plates found in the hardware carton.
