I found putting the xrail in and getting square easy with the printer upside down. Also makes putting the belts in a lot easier as you can lift the sides and thread the belt as required, gravity is working for you. It does need raising slightly for this to work as the x carriage connectors hit the deck.
Centring the little washer is tricky. I went the other way with another M5 bolt and then took the M5 bolt out and placed one in the correct way. It is easier to centre the last washer in between the spacers than the pulleys.
Make sure the X rail fits before doing this, mine was too tight and I had to reprint with 20.4 mm vs 20.2 as supplied, still required sharpy work to remove any overshoots. I should have printed this extra slow !.
I used 5 mm washers to seat the lower bearing housing. Put motor in position bolt down, add lower bearing casing, add a couple of 5 mm washers, add coupler, gently tap bearing cover into place. Will drive in fully and square, I don’t like tapping with the bearings in place!
