It's a little disappointing that the error of the Z1 & Z2 motor locations was pointed out in Aug., and here it is almost Dec. and it has yet to be corrected. Fortunately, there are some wonderful people here in the comments that, without their contributions to this guide, have saved me from making some critical errors, which this guide is supposed to prevent.
It would be nice if the filament guide and electronics box holder were integrated into one piece. No obstruction of the bottom hollow for wire routing. I'm taking my hybrid motor wires up and over to the middle, and then down into the electronics box. I figure the motor wires can get their own textile sleeve and then wire tied with the rest of the cables coming from the extruder heads.
Do all of the M3x8 screws get tightened, or just the ones associated with the arrows? If it's all of them, the instructions should read, "Fasten all M3x8 screws, starting from the Jig side." With just a single red arrow pointing to the jig.
Does anybody know if these USB/CAN toolboards allow for the use of the LDO Orbiter Smart Sensor? I would hope that it would be easy to implement a filament runout sensor, especially when running as an IDEX printer, which is the primary reason why I got this printer.
The names are CORRECT for this section. These motors are inverted to mirror the assembly below it. The "lower_left" becomes the "upper_right" when used in this manner. Up is down, left is right...human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!
