Should the jumper on J68 be removed at this point? If true, then it would be helpful to builders to receive a reminder to remove it at this point.
It's not clear which GPIO pin on the RPi is should be connected to the Octopus ground. It would be clearer if the pin number on the RPi was specifically stated.
The text to the orange dot says 2x Red Jumper wire. The orange arrow is pointing to a black wire. It therefore appears that the text to the right of the orange dot needs to be updated to read '2x Black Jumper Wire'
I agree, this is terribly confusing. It needs to be re-written to tie up the text with what's shown in the photos.
The block would not fit into the slot without significant sanding of edges and flat surfaces. Eventually I reduced its size to the point it could be inserted into the slot and be loose enough to allow movement for tension adjustments.
Recommend using M3x6mm screws to attach switch to mount.
I had the same problem. Used a 4mm drill to make the hole round so the PTFE would pass through. I didn't discover the problem until step 26 which required a disassembly, drilling and reassembly to install the PTFE!
Be sure to note the correct orientation of the bmo_support printed part. First time, I installed it upside down and the screw holes did not align at Step 30. I needed to un-do steps 29-25 to remove it, flip it over and re-install.
