On the Mandela Rose Works backplate that I purchased with pre-drilled holes, it looks like they have 3 112.5mm (or there abouts) holes all in a row. I don’t see a 500mm version of the backspine piece either. I’m no CAD person, but guess I’ll have to make my own, could use a longer one at the top that drops down as well.
It might be good to clarify the relative L and R. Is that Left and Right looking at the machine from the front? Or from the back where you are likely facing the machine when mounting these motors. Will go look at the video/schematics to figure it out, but would be good to specify here.
For us relative newbies; I take it when we say don’t tighten the T-nuts, that a couple of threads in is “set in position”? About 1/2 way up the nut inside?

500mm bed doesn’t have it… but ours is from last Feb, so maybe they didn’t when we got ours… finally finishing it now, many months later.

This would be extremely good to know. Measuring now.
Why the .98mm shim? Am I okay using a 1mm (100) feeler gauge?
What I’m doing is setting it on top of the z-motor “green” mounting bracket with the 1mm feeler gauge between and tightening.
